The background of the photo is very over exposed. It also seems like the people were edited into the picture. It quite the emotional scene though.

I love the contrast in this photo, from the flesh tone hand holding the black hand. The photo is also nicely balanced with both hands in the center of the photograph. It also shows a sense of emotion from hand hand holding the other. Lighting is also very nice, it is soft with not to many shadows. It is also not a flat photo, you can see how nice and big the hands are while the shadows from the people are small and still in frame.

In the photo the shape is very geometric with the stright lines from the build and tight rope the man is walking on. It also seems very flat due to how high the subject is up. If the photographer was shifted more left to get a better vantage point the shot could have been much better. It would have allowed a more 3d look with buildings. Also the lighting is dim.
